We are just now getting them back it's a strange sensation to look at these now that Carys is actually here. I wasn't great at taking weekly bump pictures during pregnancy so I am so glad we have these pics to remember my first pregnancy.

I've been a blog slacker lately but I've had good reason I've been knee deep in cake and icing. Last week I completed my very first official wedding cake :)

I know other mama's had told me that the moment you actually hear your sweet child's heartbeat is magical but I kind of shrugged it off til now. Oh my goodness the emotion that welled up inside of me when that little woosh woosh was heard was indescribable. It is a most magical moment for sure.

I hate to admit this but I'll be happy when the children's musical is over so I can have my Sunday evenings to myself again. 

Friday evening we visited with Mr. A's parents for a while and then headed out to our favorite little hometown spot called Lush Berries it's a frozen yogurt place and it rocks we met our friends Mr. &amp; Mrs. G there.

Friday evening we played it low key we had plans to work in the yard but it was raining so Mr. A worked on some writing and I started sorting through the mass of instructor manuals that have taken over my coffee table as I prepare to start teaching cake decorating classes in May. It's been a while since I've done a wedded wednesday post trying to get back in the habit cause I really miss the marriage reflection that comes with wedded wednesday posts.

Anyway today I'd like to discuss self confidence. See before I met Mr. A I was severely lacking in this department. Mr. A brought out the very best in me and continues to do so. Great book by the way if you have a chance I highly recommend you check it out. Anyway in our discussion we talked about how people have this view that Christianity is the safe choice and bad things won't happen to Christians etc... I only met granddad once he lives in Florida and I flew out there and spent Thanksgiving with them and all the extended family right after Mr. A and I got engaged in November of 2006. My heart is with my husband in Forida today as they honor granddad and celebrate his life.
