AHH I just realized Thanksgiving is one week away. Ok even though I'm not making dinner just dessert. It just doesn't seem possible that Thanksgiving is that close.
To be honest it still feels like I should not have already celebrated my one year anniversary.
Time seems to be going faster the older I get and the more I grow up. I can only imagine once I have kids it's going to fly even faster. This time of year especially I am reminded of how transient life truly is here one second gone the next and I pray that I remember to do all I can to treasure the people around me and create beautiful memories with them.
Ok not to mention I have three desserts to make. I chose two traditional desserts and one because I knew Jeremy would like it.
I am making
pumpkin pie
pecan pie
and red velvet cake.
Yes all from scratch yes I do have crazy stamped across my forehead. We shall see how they turn out.
Tuesday's night's crumble cake turned out delish. I took pics of the finished product and then was going to take pictures of the leftovers but I forgot turns out I could've made a smaller batch than I did but hey you live and learn.
I was happy everyone enjoyed my dessert there were so many good things to eat at our luncheon yesterday. I definitely had a food coma most of the afternoon. I tried to work it off by going over to the gym and and running on the eliptical for 30 minutes it really didn't help but at least I tried.
Well Happy Thanksgiving planning everyone.

Isn't it funny how life flies the older we get. Definitely a good reminder to cherish all those precious moments.
Sounds like you have your hands full. Happy baking!
Can you make that stamp crazy and pass it along my way? Your desserts are going to taste amazing!
