UPDATE

As soon as I finished writing that last post I heard "The Christmas Shoes" and now I sit here with tears in my eyes (seriously if you haven't heard this song look it up it's by Newsong) feeling like I'm going about this all wrong Christmas is about being around the people you love not about who's goodies are the best, or for that matter goodies in general it's not about presents, it's about love and especially the love of our Savior and his coming to earth as man to eventually die to save us.

I'm not a scrooge I'm really not. I debated deleting that post but I know I'm not the only one in the world who feels holiday stress but that song put things into perspective for me.

Sorry Blogging friends I'm not really down on Christmas!

with love,
Mrs. A

No apology necessary. We all need reality checks every once and a while. I did. As soon as I learned about the paycut I went into a pity party mode and almost went so far as to complete the thought that there's no reason for Christmas this year as we will not be giving presents . .. yeah, I know.

Leah,
You're so awesome. Here I am complaining about my baked goods going wrong, and stupid stuff. I don't even have real things to be concerned about yet I am being a scrooge.

You're Christmas will be fabulous sometimes the years when you have nothing to give are the ones you hold closest to your heart later in life.

Merry Christmas Dear Friend!
